Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Biomark
Getting Started
How do I upload my blood test results?
On the iOS app, tap the green + button on the dashboard and choose Scan PDF Report, Import CSV Data, or Enter Results Manually. On the web app, click Upload Results in the top navigation. Select your test date and upload your file — Biomark will extract your biomarkers automatically.
What file formats are supported?
PDF lab reports from Australian pathology providers and CSV files with biomarker data. We support reports from QML Pathology, Sullivan Nicolaides, Laverty Pathology, Melbourne Pathology, and most other major Australian labs. If your lab isn't listed, try uploading anyway — most standard formats work.
Do I need to create an account?
The iOS app uses Sign in with Apple — no username or password required. Just tap Sign in with Apple and you're in. The web app uses email registration.
What is the free plan?
The free plan gives you one full blood test session at no cost. You can upload as many files as you need within 48 hours of your first upload — this covers situations where your results arrive as multiple PDFs from the same appointment. After 48 hours, upgrading to Pro unlocks unlimited uploads for future tests.
AI Insights
How does the AI analysis work?
After you upload your results, Biomark's AI analyses each biomarker against established reference ranges and generates a plain English explanation of what your results mean. It flags markers that need attention, identifies trends across multiple tests, and summarises the key findings in language you can actually understand.
Is the AI giving me medical advice?
No. Biomark's AI provides health information and context to help you understand your results — it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Always discuss your results with your GP or healthcare provider.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your health data is never used to train AI models. Data sent to the AI for analysis is processed transiently and not stored or retained by the AI provider.
Subscriptions and Billing
What does Pro include?
Biomark Pro includes unlimited blood test uploads, AI insights for every test, trend tracking across multiple tests, and GP-ready PDF report export. Pro is available at $14.99/month, $99.99/year (save 44%), or $249.99 as a one-time lifetime purchase.
How do I start the free trial?
Select the Annual plan on the paywall screen and tap Start Free 7-Day Trial. No charge during the trial — cancel anytime before the trial ends and you won't be billed.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and find Biomark. You can cancel or change your plan there at any time.
I reinstalled the app — how do I restore my purchases?
Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the paywall screen and your Pro access will be restored automatically.
Data and Security
Is my health data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authentication uses Sign in with Apple exclusively — we never store passwords. Your health data is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Export a full PDF report of your results at any time using the Export GP Report feature. To delete your account and all associated data, go to Profile and tap Delete Account — all data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Who can see my health data?
Only you. Your data is strictly limited to your account and is never shared, sold, or used for any purpose other than providing the Biomark service.
Troubleshooting
My PDF didn't extract correctly — what should I do?
Try uploading a CSV file instead. Most Australian pathology providers allow you to download your results as a CSV from their patient portal. If you're still having trouble, contact us at support@getbiomark.com and we'll help you get your data in.
The app isn't recognising my lab's format — can you add support?
Yes. Email support@getbiomark.com with the name of your pathology provider and we'll prioritise adding support for that format.
